Motivational Monday Youtube video 8/22/16

I hope all of you enjoy my youtube video! It definitely has some use for those who have been in this situation or are in this situation now. I think people need to worry less about how others look at the gym and realize we are all there to workout for our own reasons and each of us have our own story to tell. Why judge someone for looking good or bad? is it really all that bad that the girl at the gym wants to show off her legs because she is confident with herself? We don’t know people’s lives from start to finish all the time. I think women can be so cruel sometimes (not saying men are not) but we tend to “hate” females who look better, smell better, have better, do better than seriously. I think the gym should be a safe place to do something for yourself without having to worry about someone talking shitty about you because you look good. Ladies, carry yourself with confidence and don’t allow someone to bring you down because whatever you are doing to look good, you are doing a great job! Don’t be mad at someone for wanting to improve themselves in a positive manner, if you don’t know their story than don’t make one up.

Hello! College graduate in exercise science and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. My blog has all kinds of fun topics, something for everyone who is anyone that involves themselves with fitness. I like to think of fitness as a confidence booster, something to make us feel good and look good & pushes us to do things that make us feel more productive, unstoppable and stronger mentally and physically. My blog focuses on building people, and helping people see their true potential, while also sharing my journey with workouts, competing with powerlifting, and sharing how to's on workouts, so you step inside the gym with more knowledge. I don't know everything but I am on a voyage to build my character, my strength and work on my weaknesses --- with awesome people in my corner who support me and my goals. I plan on being your cheerleader, friend, coach and trainer all-in-one and most of all, I want to be your listener, the person who can listen and gain more knowledge about you and learn what makes fitness important to you; what's your why! (Your why will carry you to the finish line). It's important to have purpose for something, because you will need that purpose when you start to give up on yourself or want to quit. Typical 26 year old trying to build an empire that brings out the best in others and makes me the best person I can be in all aspects in my life. Before I die, I want a reason to live, and I was given that reason each day I am able to wake up --- I have learned to not take life for granted and to explore as much as possible because to live with zero regrets would be fantastic! 1. As always great video! I think even though you talked about it from the aspect of gyming I think even in general people, unfortunately a lot of the times women, get really jealous of other women who have something they don’t have which is so unfair. I mean just cos they have something you don’t doesn’t mean you have to be a bitch to them. Like you said you don’t know their story and what they’ve been through. I think instead of bringing one another down we should try to support one another and we should get to know someone before hating on them. It just doesn’t make sense to tear each other down.

    1. Yes, agreed. This definitely goes for outside of the gym, seriously just walking inside of a grocery store sometimes, I will hear people making petty comments about someone who is doing something that doesn’t pertain to the person being negative. I find that women prefer watching other feeling insecure because it makes them feel some kind of good about themselves sometimes. I mean if a girl at the gym is overweight and you know you are in shape, you feel better about yourself, you give yourself a ego boost and you pretty much feel bad for the other female because she isn’t in shape BUT as soon as you are the girl who is overweight and not happy with the way you look and you noticed other women in shape with confidence you want to damn them to hell. It urks me because we get enough slack from society and the media alone. I am not saying all women are like this, but a good number are. When you feel better than someone else you judge and when you feel below someone else you judge! it was a lose-lose when you are that negative!

      1. Yes I totally agree! We hear negative comments about people everywhere and usually the underlying reason for those comments are jealousy. It is just so sad that people need to judge others to feel better for themselves. There are so many other ways to feel better about yourself that don’t involve putting others down. Like you said it’s a lose-lose situation no matter what side you’re on. Whether you’re receiving or saying the negative comments you are still losing. Women get so much hate from everyone and we should be sticking together instead of turning on each other and it’s so sad a majority of women don’t realize this.

    1. Nobody wants to stay in their lane when someone is doing better or when someone is doing worse. A female could look good and be happy, we assume she is stuck up and arrogant. A female could be overweight and have depression, we assume she is a loser and lazy! LOL it is like.. wow.. people.. really 😛
