My Second Published Article to the Editor!

Published Article on Editor’s Website

Hey!

I wanted to let everyone know that the Editor finally had the chance to look over my second article and publish it on the website, I won’t give out the title of it, so if you want to know, you have to click the link and find out! I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I did, because I wrote it! lol. It was a lot of hard work, not to mention, I had to interview a dietitian as well, which actually was very cool because it was a fellow blogger’s sibling, I was very grateful for that. I will be contributing more articles to the site, but as of yet, have not given any thought to topics, but will be speaking with the editor within the next couple of weeks to discuss further writings and what have you. I will let everyone know when I start on a new topic for the website, so everyone is informed all at once. I will continue to keep everyone up-to date with other projects that will be coming up here within the next couple of months or so as well: podcast interviews, collaborations with other bloggers, etc. So please if you haven’t already,  feel free to subscribe to my blog because I don’t want anyone missing out on a good time! Also, I had someone ask if this is the editor who was the former editor of “Muscle & Fitness” magazine, and the answer is yes. I know I use the word editor a lot and it seems like they get mixed up, apologizes for this. I typically don’t like talking about their credentials unless it is necessary but since someone asked, yes.

Hello! College graduate in exercise science and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. My blog has all kinds of fun topics, something for everyone who is anyone that involves themselves with fitness. I like to think of fitness as a confidence booster, something to make us feel good and look good & pushes us to do things that make us feel more productive, unstoppable and stronger mentally and physically. My blog focuses on building people, and helping people see their true potential, while also sharing my journey with workouts, competing with powerlifting, and sharing how to's on workouts, so you step inside the gym with more knowledge. I don't know everything but I am on a voyage to build my character, my strength and work on my weaknesses --- with awesome people in my corner who support me and my goals. I plan on being your cheerleader, friend, coach and trainer all-in-one and most of all, I want to be your listener, the person who can listen and gain more knowledge about you and learn what makes fitness important to you; what's your why! (Your why will carry you to the finish line). It's important to have purpose for something, because you will need that purpose when you start to give up on yourself or want to quit. "Don't let the fire that guides you, dim" - Shay-lon Besides the fitness stuff, I reside in Ohio, love dogs and love pizza. Typical 26 year old trying to build an empire that brings out the best in others and makes me the best person I can be in all aspects in my life. Before I die, I want a reason to live, and I was given that reason each day I am able to wake up --- I have learned to not take life for granted and to explore as much as possible because to live with zero regrets would be fantastic! 1. Awesome Shay-lon! Congrats!! 😀 I’m hoping you’re not on a gluten-free diet yourself now eh ;). One of my friends takes it a bit too far and when she comes over for dinner, I have to wash my hands constantly, not put any food on the counter before boiling and getting a freshly washed tablecloth. What are your thoughts on this? She’s only started doing this recently…

I am laughing so hard right now! wow! wouldn’t it be interesting to know how many people actually know what gluten is. Seriously..your statement is so true and so funny because I bet most people don’t know.
