Hello! I have just recently graduated with my exercise science degree May 2016, yay! I am more than happy; and decided that since my passion is for fitness/health, I would write about it and share my journey with others because in my opinion health is everything (both mental and physical). I am 24 years old, and reside in the states. I enjoy being active anyway possible and want to get my cert in personal trainer and also be a wellness coach. I love to eat and don't believe in eliminating, but rather moderation. I hope that my blog post will inspire, motivate and encourage you all to want to be the healthiest person you can be! It all begins with "I can" and "I will" :) -Shay-lon P.S feel free to follow me on social media and or email me, l don't mind answering questions or simply networking. Would love to hear from you all.

      1. When I stretch it’s usually after a workout. I’m trying to be better at stretching before, usually as I walk out the door along my driveway. I think I’m usually just eager to get going. What about you? How consistent are you with stretching?

  1. This is so cool!! Nice job, Shay-lon! Read your article, loved it & the info (I love a good warm up), and then shared it on Twitter :)) So inspiring too — makes me want to branch out and try writing for another site other than my blog too! Also, I love doing Frankies for warming up, but never knew that was the official name, so that was interesting to learn too. I thought you did a great job of explaining each exercise & I could imagine myself doing them as I read your cues :)) Hope all is well!

    1. Jess, thank you for the kind words and taking the time to share in on social media 🙂 I appreciate the positive support.
Frankies are what my professor called them, I wasn’t sure of them before then, I suppose there might be other names that people use, but that is the name that stuck with me and it made sense to me when she explained it.
I think you can do whatever you put your heart and mind too! good luck with your writing and blog 🙂 talk to you soon!
