Push Up Challenge, day 9

Hey everyone,

Today I did not make it to the gym to do a workout because I wussed out because it snowed all day yesterday and I didn’t feel like going through the steps and driving to the gym. oops. I know, I know, no excuses. LOL. I did my push up challenge at home instead and will do my at home workout as well.. to make sure I get some form of exercise in today. Today was 12 reps. I breezed through it on video, but I was really pacing myself. lol.

March will start your push up challenge, if you are interested in doing the push up challenge I will have in March, email me at Shay.moss19@gmail.com and let me know:) looking forward to seeing all of you doing one as well. I will be creating a video and blog post talking more about the push up challenge in about a week or so, so that many will hopefully see the post and want to sign up!

Thank you to all those competing in my squat challenge, you have made it to 100 reps today and I am so happy and excited for you, all of you have been doing amazing, keep it up!

Hello! College graduate in exercise science and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. My blog has all kinds of fun topics, something for everyone who is anyone that involves themselves with fitness. I like to think of fitness as a confidence booster, something to make us feel good and look good & pushes us to do things that make us feel more productive, unstoppable and stronger mentally and physically. My blog focuses on building people, and helping people see their true potential, while also sharing my journey with workouts, competing with powerlifting, and sharing how to's on workouts, so you step inside the gym with more knowledge. I don't know everything but I am on a voyage to build my character, my strength and work on my weaknesses --- with awesome people in my corner who support me and my goals. I plan on being your cheerleader, friend, coach and trainer all-in-one and most of all, I want to be your listener, the person who can listen and gain more knowledge about you and learn what makes fitness important to you; what's your why! (Your why will carry you to the finish line). It's important to have purpose for something, because you will need that purpose when you start to give up on yourself or want to quit. Typical 26 year old trying to build an empire that brings out the best in others and makes me the best person I can be in all aspects in my life. Before I die, I want a reason to live, and I was given that reason each day I am able to wake up --- I have learned to not take life for granted and to explore as much as possible because to live with zero regrets would be fantastic! 1. Hello, I have been researching the ailment you have and decided to research it going about a different way. I decided to find blogs where someone who has experienced it would be able to give exercises that helped them through the process, one of the links I found is: http://inspiredrd.com/2013/11/5-exercises-to-heal-diastasis/

Also another one I found: https://breakingmuscle.com/learn/12-weeks-of-workouts-to-rebuild-after-diastasis-recti

Now I know you probably have googled things on your own time about it, and maybe you have seen both of these sites, but I tried to find ones where the women have experienced it and were able to help.

I do know that the exercises are supposed to pull in and not push out (which would make it worse). I am glad I was able to look at this ailment, because it was very new to me, but hopefully both of these sites/blogs will help give you mote insight, obviously a medical doctor before starting any new exercises is best.
