300 YouTube Subscriber Milestone


Alright everyone, I wanted to happily announce that I have hit 300 YouTube subscribers on my channel. I want to thank all my bloggers and friends for hanging in there with me and being able to support me through good and bad videos, lol. I explain in this video not only my thank yous, but also my reasons why I create a YouTube my goals with my social media.

Hello! College graduate in exercise science and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. My blog has all kinds of fun topics, something for everyone who is anyone that involves themselves with fitness.   1. Party!!! Well done Shaylon, I was on youtube watching this video and mountain climber one. You are so humble and kind to us. Loved what you said on the video.

    I have been in a bit of dip with exercise, blogging and all sorts of stuff. Even though we are having the best weather in the UK.

    Anyways, you probably have done a youtube video on this and I have missed it. So I have been trying reduce my tummy my style and I have reduced what i eat and increased exercise my style (meaning not a great deal). I am just 60kg now, but I think i need to put the 3 pounds back on, but it goes on my tummy. Also, i have a bit of back fat – I wanna get rid of that. I am not fat I have never been fat ever, but I have two issue areas. I am a life long Vegeterian. Now what I have noticed in losing a bit of weight my tummy is good but my legs have lost a bit. The other thing is when should you have a protein shake (which my the way i dont like , but i have a veggie version and spirula etc, but I dont have them).

    Aren’t I the worst exercise student !! I have long given up on being a size 10 cause then i look skinny, but I want to a size 12 with a good tummy. The funny thin with me is when people hug me there is no real fat. it is my tummy and a bit of back fat… ahhh

    I was alway skinny – which was not right either.. any way

    just a few really simple tips would be most welcome

    and congrats on 300 and you are so sweet and humble in your video.. sending you a hug because your sweetness brought tear of joy to my eye

      Thank you for your kind words. Ya know, that means a lot, you have been a follower of my blog for a long time and vice versa and in that amount of time we have spoken a lot through wordpress. I like that. I don’t want people to ever feel like they can’t speak to me about things, because I am always around and when I am busy, I still will get back to you but it might take me longer.

      Now to answer your question, women have more body fat than men and this means ridding the body fat can be a bit harder on us. There is such a thing as “skinny fat” but I don’t like that term and I am against body shaming in any form or fashion but that is one way in putting into perspective. Many times things like this could be genetics, and if is genetics, that makes it semi more difficult to rid of because it is how you are shaped, etc. We can’t lose weight in certain areas, fitness does not work that way, lol sadly. but we can work on our overall fitness and strength the areas we want to turn into strengths. I would recommend that you do more strength exercises that target those areas and see where gets you, cardio exercise is fine but expect that you will still need some strength building exercises to shape your body the way you want it.

      As far as protein goes, I have heard of people taking it before and after a workout (2 hours before and immediately after a workout) personally I workout without food in my stomach because I perform better that way and eat protein immediately after the workout or within the 30 minute window . I don’t use protein powder as often but I do like some of them and will use them if I like it.

      1. oh thanks for that clarification of skinny fat and genetics. I am not body conscious so much as i use to be when i was skinny. And I dont have time to care. But it is annoying when my tummy goes mad, cause then it is so embrassing, but it is good to know this. I will try what i am doing it as it kinda is working. lol… really appreciate you taking time to guide me here. really big thanks this has been very useful.

        Your are welcome. I am body conscious but mostly always have been, so I wish I could not give a fuck some days because it can drive one mad. LOL but I don;t allow it to conquer my life, and while my genetics aren’t the greatest, I have learned to deal with most of my flaws as they come to the surface. Not everything can be fixed about us unless we want to go under for surgery but even that isn’t 100 percent. The important aspect about fitness is being able to accept the flaws and work on the weaknesses.

      3. noooo surgery… every unless it is a serious health issue.

        Well this is why meditation and simple life is so key to me, it puts in to perspective what life is about. The body should function and be useful and we should care for so it works. but there should be no attachment to it , for we are souls and this body is just a vechicle to express our personality..

        okay it like 23.21 i better go to sleep it is a work day tomorrow.. who knows why i stayed up so late … there was no reason too.

        Are you are very religious person Bella, I only ask because of your perspective of us being souls with a body and not that I disagree because when we die, our bodies are no longer what functions.. so it does have a sense to it and I do believe that our bodies are vehicles for something that is unexplainable at times.
