Now I realize this isn’t vegetarian or vegan friendly, but this is a recipe that could easily have substitutes in order to make it more vegan/vegetarian friendly, I eat meat, so many of my dishes, will contain animal product but I try to find recipes that can be manipulated to serve anyone’s appetite. Enjoy!

Be sure to give FamilyFreshMeals a follow for creating such a fantastic recipe 🙂

Hello! College graduate in exercise science and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. My blog has all kinds of fun topics, something for everyone who is anyone that involves themselves with fitness. I like to think of fitness as a confidence booster, something to make us feel good and look good & pushes us to do things that make us feel more productive, unstoppable and stronger mentally and physically. My blog focuses on building people, and helping people see their true potential, while also sharing my journey with workouts, competing with powerlifting, and sharing how to's on workouts, so you step inside the gym with more knowledge. I don't know everything but I am on a voyage to build my character, my strength and work on my weaknesses --- with awesome people in my corner who support me and my goals. I plan on being your cheerleader, friend, coach and trainer all-in-one and most of all, I want to be your listener, the person who can listen and gain more knowledge about you and learn what makes fitness important to you; what's your why! (Your why will carry you to the finish line). It's important to have purpose for something, because you will need that purpose when you start to give up on yourself or want to quit. Typical 26 year old trying to build an empire that brings out the best in others and makes me the best person I can be in all aspects in my life. Before I die, I want a reason to live, and I was given that reason each day I am able to wake up --- I have learned to not take life for granted and to explore as much as possible because to live with zero regrets would be fantastic! 1. You don’t have to make the vegetarian or vegan distinction… They may be loud but they’re an unbelievably small percentage of the population (especially vegans, 3-5%). Vegan isn’t healthy anyway unless you consume a bunch of processed pills for nutrients you can’t get. 😁

    1. Wow, I didn’t realize how much smaller they were, after all those food documentaries came out on Netflix, that’s when it seemed like everyone wanted to change to vegan or more plant versed diet. I never hopped on board because I was raised on eating meat and I don’t have any shame as of now in my life about it. I like it, but I know many of readers might not like meat for various reasons and have chosen to the vegan lifestyle. I try to make people feel comfortable, so that it avoids drama, but I can’t promise every meal will be meatless, because my meals normally are not.

I don’t think the vegan diet is a “healthier” option either, due to what you said about supplemental pills (though I take at least 3 supplements myself) and don’t have an issue with that.
I have found that being a vegan has its cons just as much as people say eating meat does (never been a vegan) but after listening to some vegans talk about their meals. Now, I also have to take into consideration, some vegans have a balanced diet where they know what they are doing and have done their research & then there are those who hopped on the bandwagon and have no clue as to what they are doing, and their health benefits are small if any.
