  • Traveling to various places around the world

  • stand up comedy
  • meditation – I have done before but would like to make this more of a routine
  • canoeing

Many of these things I would like to be introduced to, just to give it a go and see what I make of it, doesn’t mean I would like it but I like growing my hobbies and being introduced to other peoples hobbies because then you find out you may be good at something and you meet new people through new hobbies. I am usually pretty open minded when it comes to trying something new.

365 Days of Self Discovery: Day 70

11.11.18

When was the last time you did something spontaneous and how did it make you feel?

  • It has been a couple of years back & at the time it made be both nervous and excited. It involved traveling, staying in a hotel and venturing a big city on my own for a whole weekend. My reason was because I wanted to test myself and anxiety and do something on my own to help pull me out of my comfort level. Since then, I haven’t done anything that I would render spontaneous but there have been times I have wanted to, and there will be a time I do something like this again, I am sure of it.

How many of you have ever done something spontaneous, when was the last time, is this something you make a habit for yourself? Express your feelings in the comments, and don’t forget to follow, share and like!

365 days of self discovery day 17

What life lessons have books taught you?

  • Recently I have picked up reading again, all of them being used for “self help” and spirituality. I started them either based on recommendations from peers or for clarity after enduring something that caused me grief/sadness & needing to find ways to cope, and pick myself back up again. All of these books thus far have taught me to be kind to myself – there is a light at the end of every tunnel, no matter how dark it gets. The books that I have read with characters, plots, and mystery were used as amusement and an escape from my mind/ a way to get out of my own head.

I know I have many people who follow my blog that read almost daily, and this would be an awesome question for you folks to answer since you have probably read way more books than myself. I would love to hear some answers and the kind of genre of book it was that taught you the lesson(s).
