Along with having people in my life compliment my physique and overall progress, I have made new friendships because of this “health journey”, like-minded individuals who also love to lift and fitness. More so, I have taught myself to be more patient with my results, to accept some of the many flaws I see when I look in the mirror. My relationships prior to this particular progress in my body weren’t horrible to begin with so, I assumed most people would still be supportive even after. Thankfully, everyone in my circle has shown me kindness and love, both online and offline.

5,000 Blog Subscribers!

Hey Bloggers! HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!

I have OFFICIALLY made it to 5,000 subscribers on this blog! 

what does it mean? It means over 5,000 people signed up on my blog to have notifications sent to their email whenever I post something new. I made this my goal in hopes I would hit it before the beginning of next year & some days have been really hard because my traffic slows down or  I miss days blogging due to other obligations and so it makes me feel really good that through all the crappy days this blog has encountered that something like this would happen. I appreciate all of you who enjoy my content, and enjoy sharing feedback in the comments – I about cried when I had seen this , because there are so many fitness/health blogs, and YouTubers and so it becomes saturated and standing out becomes harder and harder, seemingly impossible at times. What makes my blog unique is I use my own “voice” when writing, My content doesn’t tell you how to live your life but it gives you ideas and information, it doesn’t matter your fitness level or where you are in your journey, it is always helpful. I like to think that what makes my blog stand out is I use my brand Fitness WonderWoman to catch your attention, and make you ask yourself, what makes her the “wonderwoman of fitness” – this is my brand and trademark and I use it for my career and my blog and YouTube, etc & people love it and grab on to it because it makes them feel like they can trust me and you can. 

Having this many people care about my blog and what I have to say, is SUPER AMAZING and unbelievable! Honestly unbelievable! I am so blessed and happy beyond belief and I am so happy that I made some awesome blog friends who have been more than supportive and helpful, and have driven me to aim high and keep going. I just want to end this with, I love you bloggers and I want all of us to excel together no matter your niche! keep going, aim high and soar! xoxo

I am overwhelmingly ecstatic! this has been the moment I have been dreaming off. The milestone that that I have been aiming for, because this is the amount of people not including my subscribers who have been nothing but supportive, inspired and motivated, became my friends, my wordpress family. I have built some hefty bonds with some of you, had chats with many of you, have gotten to know the majority of you and have been supporting your blog and progress as well. Nothing says more to me, than to know that my blog has reached over 1000 people from different places and have challenged people to stay fit and healthy, get moving and be productive, make sure you are aware of the stigmas that follow certain mental health disorders, make sure we come together in unity so we can hopefully lessen the bodyshaming, and lessen the bullying and somehow build each other up because we need to, we need to find what brings us together and use it to better the world each day. I am so proud of all of you and so very thankful for all of you, because as you already know, I wouldn’t have made these achievements without your support, your engagement, your time, all of you have been an asset to my accomplishments and a HUGE factor for why I want to continue to write good content, publish good videos, challenge myself to new heights so that I am doing my part in making sure you get inspired, motivated and feel like you can come to me or come to my page and have some sort of fulfillment. I don’t want to let any of you down and I hope my blog continues to grow and continues to help those that want it and build the confidence of those who need someone in their corner. Know Your Purpose|Know Your Role

I think many of you will be very appreciative of this particular vlog video, as it goes over how your roles you choose in life and the roles given to you in life all make a difference in other people’s lives, make you that much closer to your overall purpose – and by purpose, I mean the one thing that is much more than the external wishes. The things that you aim for that effect other people in a positive way. We all have roles, some have more than others and we might not always have a choice in what roles we have but we have a choice in what direction we choose to use those roles and how they effect people in our circle/lives. Sometimes we ask our-self what is our purpose, how do I fulfill my purpose, when do I know when to fulfill and it and it isn’t always clear to us in the beginning but the more roles you take on and remove from your life, it becomes more clear to you how you want others to view you, how you want people to respond to you and how certain roles can hinder your purpose in life. 

In this particular video, I give you examples of two different kind of roles we have in this life and explain to you how to see your purpose and how to view your life from now on, from this day forward. I hope many of you will watch this video, as this is something I came up with on my own time and without a script to go on, be patient with me as I speak to you & share this video among friends, family, peers, social media.. because I want more people to be inspired and to look at their purpose in this way!

900 followers and counting.. Thank you:D

So..

I made it to my goal of 900 followers (technically yesterday) but, I am in such a good mood over this! Not because it means I have more followers, but it means I met 100 more people this month, I talked to a possible 100 more people, read 100 more blogs, possibly maybe even learned 100 more things from all of you. Having followers is like every bloggers dream, but having followers who later on become friends, become your coffee and conversation partner, or people you can rely on to make your day – that my good sir is hard to come by. It occur to me today that someone had a made a comment on my YouTube channel telling me how they not only like my videos but they like the fact I respond to everyone’s comments – that is their favorite thing about me. Reading that, really made me smile, because I am not sure if you know this, but I make it my mission to ALWAYS respond to people on any of my social media mediums (this is why I am on so many).

You see, I don’t think some of you realize that a response to someone is a million times better than following someone (in my opinion) because when you respond, you are showing you read it, you understood it, and you are interested in speaking with that particular person. When people follow me, I hope they follow me because they enjoy my engagement, I hope they follow me because they are eager to know more and I hope they follow me because they feel comfortable on my page or whatever medium they follow me on. I don’t want someone to follow me and then never talk to me, I want to talk to each of you, and it doesn’t have to be about fitness/health, it can be about your day, your hobbies, your family.. those conversations are meaningful to me.

I strive to make good content, yes. BUT I also strive to make good conversation, to show my interest in your blog or videos, to show interest in your life because I want to engage, I want to know your opinions or thoughts. You’re not just a follower or subscriber, when you talk to me, you have begun a deeper journey, a journey that I hope never ends. xo
