What song holds special memories for you?

  • Music is so important to me and I have a song for almost every aspect of my life, relationships, thoughts, mood, etc. The music I listen to varies, but I have many that bring back memories; good and bad. Having to choose one song would be too difficult of a decision because I have had more than one special moment in my life, well what I would consider special. I won’t list all the songs either because that would be time consuming, but I will list 3-4 songs that come to mind right away for different reasons.

Day 55

What helps you to heal?

  • Being able to find a way to move forward and not having to rethink about the pain/hurt. I find that time helps me to move forward but allows me to remember and so I can’t always agree that time heals. Laying in total darkness in silence or listening to sad music doesn’t make everything but helps to get my emotions out and crying is relieving in a sense it that it helps to put me to sleep. I need space alone when I am healing, I don’t particularly want to be crowed on or have tons of attention — I like my seclusion and battling things on my own.

How do you deal with emotional pain?

  • I’d say not very well, but better? I typically close off people and activities I enjoy, I don’t like being around others when I am dealing with emotional pain & I tend to be more annoyed than usual & wanting to be in total seclusion in my room with the possibility of sad music in the background.

What do you like to do to relax and wind down?

  • Sleep, lay in bed to music, drink wine/eat good food and watch a movie, play video games, spend time alone.

What cheers you up when you are down?

  • Listening to music
  • long drives 
  • affection (sometimes) just to know someone else cares
  • being left in my room with my thoughts in darkness and silence – something about just getting lost & filling my mind with positive thoughts is the goal

What makes you feel at peace?

  • Coming home from a good day, laying in bed with music on and daydreaming. Taking a walk through nature, enjoying the scenery during warm and nice weather & being able to relax with little to no worry about what is going on around me — and falling asleep with ease.

What would your ideal day be?

My ideal day would be traveling someplace new with someone I am dating or a close friend, blasting music, nice weather and good conversation. I adore roadtrips & adventure, things that allow me to explore or give  a sense of happiness because it’s taking me someplace new or perhaps someplace I have been before but outside of the box in which I live in.
