In this video, I explain some changes and discuss how YouTube is not TOP priority in my life because I have other obligations and expectations that I want to fulfill in my life at the moment that are more important. I created this video in hopes it would explain what to expect from me and how I plan on going about things from this day forward so no one feels abandoned.
The Truth Is..
For some of you, you may not be able to get to the About me Section of my blog and that is perfectly okay because it probably needs updated anyways. I decided to make a more personalized post today since I have been connecting with so many other bloggers who are personal trainers, or health coaches. I love the reasons why people have chosen this profession and i even love the ones who started in this profession but have moved on to something more like nursing or physical therapy and occupational therapy, among other occupations. I think no matter what, you all have chosen to do that profession because you enjoy it – at least I hope so and hope that you if you don’t enjoy it, you find something you do enjoy.
I found that my passion lies with fitness, lies with wanting to be a personal trainer and making the most of it with what I have learned and experiences. I started off as physical therapy student (which I loved, btw) but soon changed my degree to exercise science and never regretted it yet, although sometimes I was in question about it. For some people, they think of this degree as a dead end, a no go, a pointless achievement but for me, it means I have the power to change someone’s life in a way that is transforming them into better people physically and hopefully building them up mentally as well. Now for starters, this doesn’t mean that I might not go back to school for something more or different if I need to, or decide that I want a change of scenery or if I want a profession that has more benefits, etc – this just means for the time being, personal training is my highest goal. I know this job is hard because most trainers are working part time and having to build a client list while carrying another job and I realize this job can be tiring because you are having to work around a client’s schedule that may be really early in the morning or really late at night but in order to keep them as a client and build rapport, you do it no matter.
In my mind I know this is something I want to do and love watching other trainers with their clients. I want to make a career of this, but I also have given thought about becoming a strength and conditioning coach or perhaps going back to school and going for physical therapy again..and those are ALL things I can do at any point in my life If I choose to. I want to be a personal trainer because I feel as though I have come a long way in myself and I have seen changes that happened gradually and I want to see those changes in others; and if this sounds about right, let me add that I also want to be a personal trainer because I want to be a fitness mogul – someone who isn’t just a person in the world training people but a person who has taken their training to new heights, traveled, well versed with other trainers and professionals in the field, someone who has a general audience they train but specializes in something that makes them stand out among the crowd, someone who has an app that people use because they know it will benefit them, someone who does public speaking/motivational speeches because people love what I have to say and want support, I want a book that I publish; maybe even a series that gives not only the fitness aspect of my life but my development as a person and where my obstacles lie. I want to be able to network with people – nutritionist, doctors, sports medicine professionals, coaches, etc in order to make the best of my job and deliver the best part of me. I have no idea if any of this is possible and if it is, I want it and if it isn’t, well shit I will try anyways.
Being a personal trainer isn’t about looking good, or being strong – to me, it goes above and beyond that, it is about dedicating your life to making sure that every client feels like they achieved something – achieved something that made them feel better about themselves and their capabilities. I never want a client to feel inferior next to me, I want them to feel like they are my teammate and we both have to do this together if we want to be successful. When I think of everything I hope to do as a personal trainer, I want it to mean something. To some of you this is crazy, impossible, maybe even shocking, and potentially a dream that might never happen – but this is why I chose to graduate in exercise science and why I want to be a personal trainer, this is what I believe in.
P.S for all those who are trainers – feel free to let me know the pros and cons of being a personal trainer, let me know why you chose this occupation, let me know what you think about the fitness industry, let me know if you were a trainer and went on to something more and why you did so, let me know what you think of my reasons, let me know if you prefer working in a gym or being an independent trainer, tell me everything you know and have learned working as personal trainer. Did you have dreams of training celebs? Do you feel like personal trainers get paid well? Do you feel like it is a growing job choice or dying occupation? do you think exercise science is a dead zone degree? Name other jobs you can get with an exercise science degree, I want to know everything you are willing to share and please feel free to connect with me through social media or email. I love being able to speak with all of you.
Thanks for reading, feel free to share, like, comment, and follow me.
Alright everyone, I wanted to happily announce that I have hit 300 YouTube subscribers on my channel. I want to thank all my bloggers and friends for hanging in there with me and being able to support me through good and bad videos, lol. I explain in this video not only my thank yous, but also my reasons why I create a YouTube my goals with my social media.
I wanted to make a fun announcement by sharing with all of you, that I made it to 800 followers & my subscriber list has increased as well. I am so excited, this means a lot to me – not necessarily the number itself, but the reasoning behind this number. For some reason I have been cool enough to gain followers who love engaging with me and showing maximum support on my blog, YouTube channel and other social media outlets. Not only is this number representing the amount of readers I have, but it stands for how many people actually enjoy my blog (hopefully this is why you followed me) this means a lot to me, because it is hard to make content and make it daily like myself.. topics sometimes can get dry and may seem semi repetitive at times and being a fitness/health blogger among other bloggers who write about the same things can make it harder for me to “stand out” among the busy crowd.
If you would have asked me last month if I had seen myself hitting 800 this month, I would have told you “no” because of the fact I thought I had not produced as good of content as I normally would have, and I knew faithful followers would probably not enjoy that aspect, but luckily for me, I kept all of your attention and have amazing people following me, who are patient and very supportive of everything that goes on in my life that I share with all of you. It is really hard to get a good following for myself because I have to cater to not only fitness/health readers but people outside of my niche who would be interested in reading my post and sometimes that makes things more challenging because I want everyone to feel welcomed on my page all the time and I want those of you who don’t workout or eat “clean”, to not feel like my blog is catering to only one kind of person or demographic – in all honesty it caters to a whole rage of people for different reasons. While I do keep on the topics of fitness/health and try to expand into mental health, personal experiences, stories, etc. I don’t always hit my mark with everyone, but I do always try to engage everyone; especially when you first follow me, I want to know what you are about and by learning that, I can somewhat help myself by making post that might catch your attention. This is work in progress, but everyday I challenge myself and my writing ability in order to make all of you want to keep reading what I have to say.
It has been a great blessing to have all of you, and to have spoken to a lot of you during my writing career as well, many of you have been a great help, turned into friendships, and have been very blog positive on my page – Thank you greatly. Like I said, I don’t always hit my mark with everyone who passes by, but I really try to make some of my blog post fun and engaging so that other people outside of this field or niche will not feel intimidated or feel like they can’t relate because health is important to everyone, it is part of you and it is important that you realize this- so that you never take advantage of it or do minimal damage to it. I honestly thank all of you and sorry for the long post, but each time I get 100 more followers, I feel the need to do a grammy award speech (these won’t be going away) lol.
If you haven’t already, tell your folks about me, I am a cool gal, and I love reading your blog post and being a part of your journey’s and adventures, so always feel free to email me or talk to me on social media or whatever it may be, never be shy on this page – and if you haven’t already crack a few jokes at me during my YouTube videos 🙂
Your Fitness Blogger,
I did it, I made it! Today marks my one year blog anniversary on WordPress and it has been wonderful to say the least. I seriously find it awesome that they keep track of that information and remind us, because it just goes to show all the post and work I put behind my writings and how far I have come as a blogger in the blogosphere. Everything has been so worth it, I can only hope that the fun continues into the upcoming year. I find myself in some kind of disbelief because I didn’t realize blogging would be a huge part of my everyday agenda, but it did, it became not only a hobby but somewhat of job, a networking opportunity, a positive way to teach and motivate others and it made it possible for me to inspire people to be the best type of fit/healthy they can be – without all the extra stress and pressures.
I thank everyone who has taken the time to comment, like and share my post. I appreciate all the positive vibes I have received from the majority of you. Most of you taught me something along the way, whether it was your niche, about yourself or helped me to become a “writer in progress”, it is because of all of you that I actually continue to write, all because of you. My goal was to reach as many people as possible, I am doing that! I am surely not even finished doing what I came to do, I will continue to do great things with my blogs and continue to “WOW” you, continue to open up to you, continue to share my knowledge, continue to cheer you on and continue read your blog post & support your writing – not to mention, continue to be a friend. “You got a friend in me”.
If this month was your anniversary, CONGRATS to you as well, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! way to go and keep it going, don’t stop, don’t quit, keep progressing! I am so proud of all as writers, and I hope many of you continue to do great things! Thank you so much for being apart of my life, all of you are awesome!!

I have been been on social media just making people aware of my blog sites, my goals, purpose, etc and recently found a personal trainer who is following me, he was looking to guest post and possibly have someone do a guest post on his site and I was totally interested in listening to what he had to say because we all know not all personal trainers are good trainers or have good intentions. He recently sent me 4 articles along with this cover photo and about me page, and I glanced over the first article and decided it wouldn’t be too bad to have it around. His main purpose is rapid, permanent fat loss, and I am not sure how I feel about it 100 percent, as I have only read the 1st article, although just because I am not 100 percent on board, doesn’t mean I will knock it, as long as it is a safe way to lose weight (he does mention it will take 90 days) For right now, I will send you his first article, hopefully it may interest someone, if it does, I can email you the other articles or if I find more people would like to know more, I am willing to post the other 3 articles. let me know what you think of Rich:
You Must Transform Your Body Now!
“The first step towards transformation is awareness”
By Rich “Slayer of Stubborn Fat” Tweten CPT, Author
Have you accidentally programmed your body to be fat for life?
That’s an incredibly scary thought, yet it may be true!
Remember back to a time when you made the decision to slay stubborn fat.
Once motivated, I’m sure you did whatever you believed was necessary at the time to drop those ugly and unwanted pounds.
Did you go on a diet?
Did you start an exercise program?
Did you buy a fat loss product that promised amazing results?
Regardless of the path you chose, obviously your efforts were not fully rewarded since you’re here with me right now.
Even the most effective actions for slaying stubborn fat and improving health mean nothing, if you have unconsciously programmed your body to be fat for life.
What stopped you before and may continue to prevent you from achieving rapid and permanent fat loss results?
It definitely isn’t your body.
Instead, it’s your mind that orders your body to respond to its every command!
To actually achieve rapid and permanent fat loss results, it’s essential to install a new and positive program into your mind.
Otherwise, your body will have no other choice but to follow the old and negative programming that has brought you disheartening fat loss results in the past that comes with a guarantee for fat loss failure in the future.
This positive program will allow you to create and own your new body, instead of renting mediocre fat loss results, if any!
Coming up, you’ll find an assignment with questions that are brought to your attention in a simple, step-by-step format.
Valuable insight and self-actualization will be yours for the taking.
However, before you answer the first question, make sure to open a text file so you can simply type out the answers as you advance.
Here is your goal for this assignment…
To take responsibility for the body you’ve created and increase your awareness about why you need to achieve rapid and permanent fat loss results, then make the decision to get started.
This is going to sound strange, but you need to trust me on this.
Create a private moment for yourself and strip off your clothes.
Yes! I mean it.
Keep your underwear on, or get into a bathing suit and walk over to a mirror (ideally a full length one) and stand in front of it.
Ask yourself the following list of questions as you study your body.
I’d like you to verbally respond to all of the questions and then type out your answers.
For the record, this assignment is intense!
It needs to be in order for you to feel the tenacious drive to create a positive lifestyle transformation and as a result, an improved self-image and new-found happiness.
Question 1: What is your immediate reaction when you stare at the body you’ve created? Make certain that you’re standing in a relaxed position and speak out the feelings that enter your mind.
Question 2: Do you believe that your inner health is being affected in a negative way when your body is living in this state? If so, how? Think of your heart, lungs and arteries, etc.
Question 3: How is the condition of your body affecting your everyday attitude, productivity and performance?
Question 4: How is the condition of your body affecting the people around you and the way they treat you?
Question 5: What has your physical condition cost you in the past and present? Think of your health, self-esteem and other areas that have been affected such as your family, relationships and career.
Question 6: Do you understand why you look and feel the way you do? What are some unhealthy habits which contributed towards that result? Think about inactivity and poor nutrition.
Question 7: Imagine how you will look and feel in 5 years from now if you continue to pick-up more unhealthy habits. How about 10 or 20 years?
Question 8: Describe your physical appearance right now after answering the first 7 questions. Are you smiling, frowning or sad? Yell it out with emotion!
Question 9: Do you know of anyone who is at least 5 years older than yourself and has a similar lifestyle as yours? Assuming that you’re both of the same gender and have a similar bone structure, answer the following questions:
In your opinion, how does that person look and feel?
Do you think that person is happy?
Are you going to allow yourself to look and feel a similar way as this person in the future?
Question 10: Are you worth more than what you see in the mirror?
Question 11: Are you ready to work towards rapid and permanent fat loss results?
If you answered “Yes” to the last question, then way to go!
On the other hand, if you answered “No”… don’t worry, you’re just not ready to commit to a new, healthy lifestyle for a healthier mind and body.
Continue to live your life as happily as can be.
If you change your mind in the future, only then do I want you to continue on from here.
If you haven’t answered all of the previous questions, then I encourage you to go back and complete them.
Since you’ve now decided to work towards rapid and permanent fat loss results, understand that you’ve unlocked the magical door that’s at the beginning of your pathway to a heavenly body!
In this next step, you’re going to get excited and have fun as you set your realistic weight loss goals (link the phrase “realistic weight loss goals” to http://totalwellnessdestination.com/realistic-weight-loss-goals) using visualization…

Hello everyone, I have had people ask me if I am willing to do guest post and the answer to this question is YESSS! of course. I love having the opportunity to guest post on other people’s blogs, it makes for a great experience and I get to meet new people through doing so. I also have asked a few people, and will continue to do so as time progresses that they guest post on my blog site as well, I will keep everyone up to date on the matter and make sure anyone I ask to do so, will have plenty of time. I think this will be fun, there is no set date as to when all this will happen, so just keep your eyes and ears open.
As of now, I was asked to do a collaboration with a fellow blogger on a topic surrounding fitness and health. Next weekend we plan on discussing our ideas/topics and hopefully deciding how we would like to go about this (video, guest post, challenge, etc). I am very honored that someone has asked me to do this with them and I plan on sharing the finished product with all of you when given the chance.
Thirdly, thank you to those of you who have sent me emails this past week with your kind words and positive vibes, I appreciate getting emails from people who enjoy my work and share their thoughts about my blog page. This makes blogging worth blogging when I have the support from all of you. This is my formal way of thanking all of you and making sure you know how grateful I am of your generosity and kind words.
BIG thanks each and every one of you! Continue doing great work with your writing!
P.S I also am working on becoming a freelance blogger, and/or writer, along with getting my cert in personal training. My journey is long but exciting. I have goals that go past the sky. I appreciate everyone being patient with me when necessary. Also, I will not be blogging tomorrow because I will be out of town again, but only for a 1 or so, but I will be resuming possibly Tuesday unless given time Monday.
