365 Days of Self Discovery: Day 112

12.23.18

Are you good at organizing your time? How could you improve?

  • For the most part, I am good at time management because I use daily/monthly planners that assist with keeping up with my task, events, and daily activities & I also have a dry erase board calendar that hangs on my wall in my bedroom (that I need to start utilizing — a friend made it for me). I like utilizing these resources because without them I would be lost, however, I do feel that I need to still improve my time management skills because I want to be more precise about utilizing my time, and being sure that within the 24 hours of time I have allotted, I can stay productive & keep from overwhelming myself with too much on my plate. I need help with better managing my time so that I get enough sleep throughout the day as well — because living on 2-3 or sometimes 4-5 hours of sleep isn’t ample if I want to be efficient and functional at my best. I will need to google some time management skills/resources that might be helpful or use Pinterest to give me some creative ideas in ways to stay organized with my time & become less stressed and overwhelmed doing so.
How is your time management skills, are you good at organizing your time? if no, how can you improve? If this is one of your strengths, share how you go about organizing your time, would love recommendations: apps, creative DIYs, videos, etc that could be useful in helping myself and others.

365 days of self discovery: Day 31

10.03.18

self discovery day 31

Is there a part of your life that you wish was more organized?

  • No, not really. Maybe to have an organized gameplan for my business & the amount of workload vs time I have to get it done & time spent on the workload.

Are you in the same boat, are you someone who needs a part of your life more organized? if so, what is it and what are you doing in order to make that happen? leave answers in the comments, and like, follow and share!

365 days of self discovery: Day 30

Are you an organized person?

  • I would say yes I am. I use my planner/calendar daily for everyday task, keep up on work schedule, planning events, layout of my to-do list and to keep my brain in check so that I know what to expect that is “planned” for the day. I also very much enjoy an organized space; I am a little more picky about what that entails and when I get my own place, I will definitely have a place for everything and if not, then it will be stored away. Even when it comes to clothing, I like having my winter clothing separate from my spring/and summer clothing. Sometimes it might seem over the top, but when I do get my own office space besides using my bedroom, I want papers to be in folders and the room to be designed as productive space so that my brain feels at ease when I am blogging or needing alone time doing projects or meditation.

Are you an organized person? we all have certain levels of organization that we need in our lives & some can careless as to how organized their space is (wish that could be me sometimes). If you are someone who is organized, explain in what ways & leave the answer in the comments.

365 days of self discovery: Day 19

9.21.18

What are your strengths?

Almost feels like an interview question, but it’s an important question and one that should be open and honest because we can’t be good at everything but some of us are rather good at most things compared to others. I am going to list my strengths in bullet form, and might elaborate on some of them to give a better, deeper understanding of why it is a strength of mine.

  • The ability to multitask and do things under pressure if need be
  • Timely- punctual
  • organization & planning
  • attention to detail
  • teammate
  • communicating feedback if need be – now this doesn’t mean I am good at communication overall, because I lack in some areas of communication because of my social anxiety BUT for the most part if someone needs feedback or advice, I am pretty good at giving that
  • very patient
  • dedicated
  • disciplined
  • trustworthy and honest
  • respectful
  • determined
  • ambitious
  • focused – I pretty much feel this way in a work setting, whatever it may be, when I have something that needs done, it is done because I make it my main focus
  • leadership
  • orderly
  • visionary
  • independent
  • love of learning
  • perservence
  • precise
  • problem solving skills
  • good willpower
  • inspirational
  • fair- I like being equal among others
  • charming
  • personable
  • compassionate
  • educated/knowledgeable

This list pretty much summed it up all in one, and some of them aren’t 100 percent perfect but I would still say that the list was from both my habits at work and around friends/family and when I am alone — I had to consider all things in order to conjure up this list, now it is your turn. I want to see a list of your strengths, share them with me and my readers, it doesn’t have to be long, but maybe it is much longer than mine. To know your strengths, means to know your weaknesses. Don’t forget to follow, like, comment and share 🙂

I’ve done it again..

Forgot to adult for the week..

I think my weekly planner is getting sick of me going off schedule these days, I have a planner I use and lately have barely opened it — hints why I have been behind in blogging and studying; I should always check my planner because honestly. my anxiety starts to kick in when I don’t do things as planned and then have list of task that never got done because I have been fiddle farting around instead of adulting. I could probably complain all day, but it comes down to my time management and all my projects and goals.. I have so many projects and don’t utilize my time well (anymore) — well 2018, don’t give up on me yet… I plan on getting back on track when it comes to priorities and tasks (fingers crossed) .. but I am young, right? so I should be allowed to get off the beaten path every once in awhile without feeling bad.. BUT my personality trait doesn’t allow me to enjoy my youth when I am constantly trying to keep myself on a “perfect” schedule — pretending that it is possible to do so, so I don’t freak out. Thankfully I have friends and family who seemingly understand that I am crazy and my OCD and time management skills fight back & forth which causes the HUGE debate in my head as to what to get started on first. Externally I am smiling until I get home and break down.. but that’s a whole new story for a different day. Back to what is scheduled. My workouts. & if I am lucky I might be able to squeeze in some studying before work tonight. Hmm. Wish me luck.

Oh & the next blog post will begin my workout sessions….

A New Week, A New Thought

Bloggers,

I decided to add another fun topic to my blog because well, I wanted to and because there are some things I think would be fun to talk about with within this category. This specific category will be called “Thinking Out Loud” & I will post it on Sundays! basically this will integrate my thoughts for the week, current events (preferably around fitness/health), my opinions on certain things in the industry, it might talk on my experiences or tell a story, it might be discussing things outside of the scope of fitness/health, it could be about anything really that doesn’t already fit into my other categories (which I will name at the end of this post) so hopefully all of you will enjoy it greatly because I am looking forward to it myself.

ALSO…For those of you who may not follow my soundcloud account, I have decided that I also want to add another category based off of my podcast & it will be “Tuesday Fitness/health advice & tips” so I will continue my podcast series but will be adding this to the blog as well now because I want everyone to benefit from this 🙂 Which this basically is going to be me giving you advice & tips and also be answering questions that maybe people have asked me or have for me now that could be helpful for others.

ALSO, ALSO… My podcast is supposed to have interviews, current events, Q & A on Saturdays, but I have been slacking and yet to do that, so not only will that continue (as soon as I find ways to get that going) but WHEN and IF I have time, I will be adding guest post to my blog (which is nothing new) but haven’t done it in a  LONG time. Yikes! sorry.  but this will take place on Saturday’s or Sundays possibly – the way I will go about it, is I just have a list of over 100 DIFFERENT TOPICS I want to write about written down and some are meant for guest post and some are meant for me to write about – so basically if I come to you about writing something for me, it is because I feel like you could be a good person to discuss that particular topic BUT this does not mean I don’t allow people to write guest post otherwise, because I have had people come to me about wanting to guest post (which is fine) but I am just really picky because this blog is my baby! lol so don’t take offense if I don’t accept your topic or request to write a post on my blog, because I like to be choosy because I worked my ass off on this blog like everyone else on theirs.

ALSO, ALSO, ALSO.. LOL.. I have been doing Review Wednesday’s on YouTube (so yes, I will be adding them to the blog regularly on Wed whenever I do them)

So with this all being said and laid out, I am hoping going into this new year, my blog will continue to grow, and give everyone something to read about that they are interested in no matter what journey they are on as far as fitness/health goes.

Blog Schedule:

  6. Saturday: Interviews, Q & A, current events, misc

Keep in mind that I work two jobs and I have studies & with holidays coming up and growing my brand, I will be busy and I might miss days of the week or have to post certain topics on other days because I am hella busy like everyone else in the world, don’t get mad at me, I am only human and I will do my best to continue making fun content that engages all of you!
