For all those new to the blog, I have a second sponsorship and once a week I will be posting a blog post about something motivational or inspirational or share some good talks, etc. At the bottom, I will share the links and everything to their website and my dedicated website with them — anytime there is new products, I will share it with all of you for anyone who is interested. I will also share these on IG. 

 

“Be great, don’t stop”, what does this mean? it means to be the best person you can be, make the best out of things and don’t stop striving. It’s so easy to give up, so easy to say “fuck it”, but it shouldn’t come that easy if you have a passion and drive for whatever it is that you want in life. I have had my battles with wondering if going forward was worth it, it brings self doubt, stress and overwhelming disbelief in yourself. When something like this happens, you have to be prepared to handle it, manage the symptoms of stress and disbelief and find a purpose to keep going because when you stop — you never know what could have been if you would have succeeded. 

 

I am keeping this post short to give you a tidbit of what is to come in the future. Hopefully all of you have enjoyed this post and will continue to enjoy the future ones!

Fun News — Another Sponsorship

I just wanted to simply announce that I was offered another Sponsorship from my friends over at BeGreatGuys, Inc. I did a whole Instagram post about it Thursday, but wanted to make sure all of my blog friends were aware of the good news as well. This company was created by a person who has since watched me on YouTube decided to come up with his own brand of clothing and workouts, he has been hustling and making BIG WAVES for himself and I am so happy for him. He decided to offer me a sponsorship with this company and I accepted the offer. I will still be sponsored by my other company Kliewersupplements — but this means I will have double the workload on social media but hopefully it opens more doors for me down the road. 2017 Blog Recap: My Pitfalls and Success!

thought I would take this time to reflect on my blogging career since first starting Dec. 2016. 

 

Once upon a time I was a beginner just like some of you new bloggers, I was searching for answers, perfection and followers. I owe my blogging to a professor whom gave me the idea and I took off with it – if it wasn’t for his guidance; I would have never found this passion & would have missed out on such amazing opportunities with my writing. 

 

He gave me the idea, but I had to come up with the answers, come up with the solutions, had to put forth the effort to see any success. In the beginning, I was restless, I was anxious, I was nervous and I was alone on this journey- while I had his continued support, I didn’t have the support of many others until my blog started taking off on its own (even then, the support was minimal). I struggled trying to find my voice within my writing, coming up with topics, making a routine, creating an actual blog and deciding which platforms to use. Google was both my friend and nemesis because while it was helpful; it wasn’t enough. Soon, I had to put forth all my efforts with contacting veteran bloggers with questions, concerns, and had to read blog after blog after blog in order to find my own wings. 2016 was tough to say the least and 2017 had its patches as well. 

 

In year 2017, I had great days where my stats were glowing and showering with new views and followers – I was hitting top success, BUT towards the middle & end of 2017 my blog was coming to a slow end ( I was writing less entries, views were low, my following was slow and my online presence was dwindling) getting lost in all the saturated fitness and health blogs— I struggled to stand out. My blog helped to get me sponsored as an athlete, it helped me be able to have a chance in writing for editors of very popular magazines (Muscle and Fitness magazine) and it gave me opportunities to write for online sources both paid and unpaid opportunities all the while it was tumbling down a downward slope.. 

 

I love my blog, and even though it isn’t at its BIGGEST success as of yet, I hope that 2018 will be the year it shines its brightest. In fact, I plan on putting in more work on this blog (and my other blog) than I have in the past couple of years of writing because I have HUGE dreams to fulfill and HUGE ideas that are possible and with the right amount of time and dedication, I know I can turn my blog into a HUGE success. A blog that will blow the minds of those who doubted me. In the meantime I plan on taking this blog to new heights, but still keeping it simple & still keeping it true to myself – always. 

 

I have seen my pitfalls and my triumphs within my writing – and 2018 will still have pitfalls and triumphs, it will just be a new year of showing continued growth. Many people consider me a successful blogger/writer in the fitness industry, but I don’t consider myself as such because the most successful of them are the ones who you remember the most, you read the most, you follow, you feel inspired by and have learned something from that has significantly played a part in your life, you subbed to their blog because you never want to miss a moment or story; you didn’t leave their side during bad months of writing and you weren’t just a follower of their’s- but somebody they knew and had grown to connect with. I want that. I want all of those things when people visit my blog. 

 

I appreciate all of you for being here to read this, It means a lot to me that I am ending 2017 on a positive note. Have a wonderful NEW YEARS 2018 🙂

I have some updated news – Feb. 2nd

I realize none of you care about my life and updates but listen anyways. I have some good news to tell all of you and wouldn’t mind your thoughts and insights, and even advice about some of it to make sure I am going about things in a good way. 

 
 
  • I applied to be a sponsored athlete with a supplement company. They are a very small business (still growing their site) and accepted my application. I will get my contract this weekend or week, which is exciting for me. They are not a HUGE name, but sadly, I have to start at the VERY bottom and work my way up until I grow a better resume and better appearance with more exposure and do more activities that BIGGER companies look for. 
  • I am thinking about starting a sound cloud account in which I record motivational topics/give advice to questions people may have or even share some thoughts on certain things going on. I do this kind of on YouTube, but not everyone has a YouTube account or utilizes it, so if someone has sound cloud , or wants something to listen to while at the gym, I figured this could be helpful 🙂
  • I plan on starting a vlog on my YouTube channel, where I vlog at least once or twice a week, just sharing what is going on with my life, family, friends, might bring in guest speakers, etc. just something off the topic of all fitness related so everyone can relate or share their own thoughts and what you, just something fun 🙂
  • I will start utilizing my snapchat and/or instagram video in order to talk to people one on one or promote things, or even to share videos .. – need some ideas of what people use snapchat for and insta for that can help me grow 🙂
  • I already utilize pinterest, so if you do, follow me 🙂 I have good stuff I pin. and love following others and getting ideas.
  • I plan on changing my blog theme here soon, once spring comes closer 🙂
  • I am still accepting guest post and collabs, I have two people I need to get back to and those will be rolling out here soon hopefully &still willing to do guest post for others.
  • I have a facebook fitness page, so follow that , hopefully once things get rolling and I get certified, I will have it more entertaining and worth your while, be patient with me
  • I am thinking about starting a facebook group that anyone can join if they want to do more challenges, motivate each other, etc. – this isn’t set in stone but give your opinions on that, I may do this on my page instead. we shall see
  • I am now writing for another platform (an online mag) started today and it seems to be getting a lot of people who look at it or whatever, so that is good.
  • I hope to change my domain name so that “wordpress” isn’t part of it. My goal is to have it changed within the next 4-5 months .. if not sooner.
  • I may be joining an affiliate program again down the road, once I get more comfortable with it and understand how to do them better. 
  • I am going to continue to make challenges that people can do, as it grows to be more popular and more people become interested, I plan on giving out prizes for them.. so that will be cool! especially if I am a sponsored athlete.  My challenges, I have not decided how often (every other month, every 2 months, etc) so throw me some ideas 🙂
  • I will continue to write for the editor when given the time and have the right topics. 
  • I have seen people using Twitter periscope, so may look into using that as well, if you get on Twitter
  • I will be doing Question and Answers on YouTube as well 🙂 so if you have questions, I will start answering them on YouTube and the questions can be open to whatever, as long as they are appropriate obviously. 
  • If anyone has a podcast and wants me to interview, hey, let me know, I love doing those things.
  • I have skype, and have thought about doing workouts on skype with people or talking to people via skype about different things – this would be down the road, but don’t mind feedback on it. 
  • As far as more on my blog – I have had people ask me to do interviews on my blog, to start talking more about specific workouts again, etc. so if you have topics, let me know 🙂 these are things I can do. 

So far, that is the majority of the news, I will have more down the road obviously as things start to change and unravel. I will always keep everyone updated as much as possible whenever I can. I will hopefully have days and times of which things happen, so it makes it easier for everyone to keep up with. I appreciate the support and willingness to learn and engage with me! so don’t go anywhere, shit is about to real soon 🙂 ha
