800 followers .. and counting..

Heyyyy everyone! 

I wanted to make a fun announcement by sharing with all of you, that I made it to 800 followers & my subscriber list has increased as well. I am so excited, this means a lot to me – not necessarily the number itself, but the reasoning behind this number.  For some reason I have been cool enough to gain followers who love engaging with me and showing maximum support on my blog, YouTube channel and other social media outlets. Not only is this number representing the amount of readers I have, but it stands for how many people actually enjoy my blog (hopefully this is why you followed me) this means a lot to me, because it is hard to make content and make it daily like myself.. topics sometimes can get dry and may seem semi repetitive at times and being a fitness/health blogger among other bloggers who write about the same things can make it harder for me to “stand out” among the busy crowd. 

If you would have asked me last month if I had seen myself hitting 800 this month, I would have told you “no” because of the fact I thought I had not produced as good of content as I normally would have, and I knew faithful followers would probably not enjoy that aspect, but luckily for me, I kept all of your attention and have amazing people following me, who are patient and very supportive of everything that goes on in my life that I share with all of you. It is really hard to get a good following for myself because I have to cater to not only fitness/health readers but people outside of my niche who would be interested in reading my post and sometimes that makes things more challenging because I want everyone to feel welcomed on my page all the time and I want those of you who don’t workout or eat “clean”, to not feel like my blog is catering to only one kind of person or demographic – in all honesty it caters to a whole rage of people for different reasons. While I do keep on the topics of fitness/health and try to expand into mental health, personal experiences, stories, etc. I don’t always hit my mark with everyone, but I do always try to engage everyone; especially when you first follow me, I want to know what you are about and by learning that, I can somewhat help myself by making post that might catch your attention. This is  work in progress, but everyday I challenge myself and my writing ability in order to make all of you want to keep reading what I have to say. 

It has been a great blessing to have all of you, and to have spoken to a lot of you during my writing career as well, many of you have been a great help, turned into friendships, and have been very blog positive on my page – Thank you greatly. Like I said, I don’t always hit my mark with everyone who passes by, but I really try to make some of my blog post fun and engaging so that other people outside of this field or niche will not feel intimidated or feel like they can’t relate because health is important to everyone, it is part of you and it is important that you realize this- so that you never take advantage of it or do minimal damage to it. I honestly thank all of you and sorry for the long post, but each time I get 100 more followers, I feel the need to do a grammy award speech (these won’t be going away) lol.

700 followers and counting!

Hello everyone, 

I have finally reached my goal of 700 + followers, and I am very grateful and excited about it! I don’t know if any of you remember, but it has been some months, since making this goal, so it took me sometime, but I am very happy nonetheless. I want to say thank you to all those that continue to follow my blog, those have subscribed to my blog and those who have shown support on all my social media accounts as well! I love blogging and enjoy speaking with all of you, I know this number doesn’t seem so big for some, but for me, it seems so huge. Especially considering all the other fitness/health bloggers who write about some of the same things as I do, and it can be difficult because I like to stand out among others and show my flying colors. I definitely want to continue to impress all of you with my continued blogging and social media efforts, so please don’t leave, make this page home and know that I am YOUR NUMBER ONE FAN! whatever journey you are on, I am your number one fan, always cheering you on! Thank you!

The Day After Christmas Day

Hello everyone, 

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and if not Christmas, a wonderful holiday. I decided to make a post about the day after Christmas because this is usually when the “guilt” sets in and everyone feels horrible about eating so much or not staying active during the holiday. I wanted to check it with all of you and see how my readers are feeling; do anyone of you feel guilt, or regret, did you feel like you did better managing your portions and amount of food this Christmas vs the last, did you not care and just dig in, did you find yourself lazy today and not wanting to do much of anything.. I want to hear it all. 

 

Personally, I didn’t eat much and for multiple reasons, but one being I didn’t feel so great, and I wasn’t very hungry this Christmas, my appetite has somewhat changed a bit – I have noticed this. I did however indulge in a few treats here and there but nothing that made me feel guilty, I am not one to eat sweets, but my grandma did such a great job baking, I couldn’t resist a bite or two.   Not only did I want to know about your eating habits, but of course I want to know did you receive all the gifts your heart could dream of, did you give as much as you received, did you spend time with loved ones/friends, did you find yourself grateful for everything positive that has happened and did you smile and laugh, take tons of pictures and sneak Santa a cookie or two. I hope everyone found something productive and positive to do on their Holiday – we might not all celebrate the same holidays, but how we spend those days doesn’t have to change, we should always be grateful for what we have and who we have in our lives. 

 

I appreciate everyone being patient with me, as I have not done a YouTube video since a week or so, and well, I was going to do one today, which I might still and it might be a little emotional.. who knows. I just know one thing, so much has happened, both good and bad and no matter, I appreciate all of you for taking time out of your good and bad days to find time to read my blog post. I wish all of you a wonderful Monday!
