365 Days of Self Discovery: Feelings & Emotions

1.25.19

Day 26

Are you easily frustrated? what is it that frustrates you?

  • Yes, I can be easily frustrated when I am overwhelmed or stressed out. Many times the thing that frustrates me is when I am struggling to understand a concept or math equation & I keep trying to process the steps, but can’t get the formula down or understand the concept. Another frustration is when I am being sarcastic and it ends up offending someone, so I apologize but they don’t seem forgiving (even after saying “it’s okay”) because it makes me feel bad and I become frustrated with myself.
  • Also, I get frustrated when people are running late or when I am running late.
Are you the type or be easily frustrated, if so, what are some things that can cause you frustration?

365 days of self discovery: Day 19

9.21.18

What are your strengths?

Almost feels like an interview question, but it’s an important question and one that should be open and honest because we can’t be good at everything but some of us are rather good at most things compared to others. I am going to list my strengths in bullet form, and might elaborate on some of them to give a better, deeper understanding of why it is a strength of mine.

  • The ability to multitask and do things under pressure if need be
  • Timely- punctual
  • organization & planning
  • attention to detail
  • teammate
  • communicating feedback if need be – now this doesn’t mean I am good at communication overall, because I lack in some areas of communication because of my social anxiety BUT for the most part if someone needs feedback or advice, I am pretty good at giving that
  • very patient
  • dedicated
  • disciplined
  • trustworthy and honest
  • respectful
  • determined
  • ambitious
  • focused – I pretty much feel this way in a work setting, whatever it may be, when I have something that needs done, it is done because I make it my main focus
  • leadership
  • orderly
  • visionary
  • independent
  • love of learning
  • perservence
  • precise
  • problem solving skills
  • good willpower
  • inspirational
  • fair- I like being equal among others
  • charming
  • personable
  • compassionate
  • educated/knowledgeable

This list pretty much summed it up all in one, and some of them aren’t 100 percent perfect but I would still say that the list was from both my habits at work and around friends/family and when I am alone — I had to consider all things in order to conjure up this list, now it is your turn. I want to see a list of your strengths, share them with me and my readers, it doesn’t have to be long, but maybe it is much longer than mine. To know your strengths, means to know your weaknesses. Don’t forget to follow, like, comment and share 🙂

Sumo Saturday—

Short & Sweet

Not gonna lie.. Saturday’s workout I on purpose, made it shorter than any other workout, because I was just wanting to get home at a decent time and “hopefully” study and get to bed at a rather decent time after dinner, but you know me.. —- that never did happen. I got the workout in quick and efficiently but after that.. yeah.. no.. was up late and NOT studying. I need to study.. like someone needs to make her priorities about studying and less about Netflix. LOL I didn’t even fill out my life line aka planner for the week, and that is a no-no for me, so .. yes, if that tells you anything about my weekend.

None the less, I got a workout it.

  • Sumo deadlift: 3 x 5, 3, 1

  • 75% of 90% of 1-RM: 3 x 5, 150 lb
  • 85% of 90% of 1-RM: 3 x 3, 170 lb
  • 95% of 90% of 1-RM: 3 x 1, 190 lb, 6 max reps

  • Stationary bike: 20 minutes, level 8
