Good news with a cherry on top

If you are on my Facebook, you probably already know the good news… 

 

But many of you are not, so I have some positive news to share with my fellow readers .. 

 

Today was an overall good day, after my workout this morning, I had to train a client and then I had to work the front counter til 8pm at the gym but many things happened today that made me smile and many things have happened since today, that have enlightened my life since working at the gym and also since meeting new people and making new friendships, so I will share what I shared on FB with all of you. 

 
 
  1. Trained my client this afternoon and just love her as a person, she just has a wonderful heart and does so well 😀
  2. I had someone from the gym tonight bring me tamales, the sweetest and both of her sons are just so awesome.. the one hugged me and I always feel like family to them. I so appreciate it ❤
  3. I might have some new clients to train, possibly a couple… and that’s exciting because they seem eager and I hope if anything, I hope can raise their self esteem and give them something to look forward to when they arrive in the gym regardless if I’m their trainer or not… I always aim to build people up.. because I want people to feel like they belong and feel good about themselves because I know the feeling of low self esteem and wanting to give up and I hope everyone I train and help I make them feel empowered and cared about. I always tell people I believe in them, because if nobody else does, I want them to know I do! 
  4. I’ve made some great friendships and people who have been amazing toward me in and out of the gym, just your hello and a high five puts a smile on my face and I love you guys. I appreciate those who have always encouraged me in my lifting and encouraged me to be my best self, thank you
  5. the awesome instructor and a few ladies invited me out in the next few weeks for my birthday and I just feel like it definitely means something, I appreciate them
  6. I tell ya, this dentist who comes into my gym, he is so funny and just down to earth and humble. His conversations have always been a learning experience and something to look forward to, I love it.
  7. I talk too much and never get out of the gym on time, lol

I also want to thank all of you who take the time to follow, read and share my blog among your peers, whom have taken the time to leave comments and share conversations with me on social media. I have been blogging for a little over 2 years now and it feels like a lifetime because I have met some wonderful and skillful bloggers — people who have transformed since day one of following them and have seen me transform since day one of following me. To watch your growth as writers has been an absolute honor and I look forward to many more years of watching and being apart of your experience. Blogging has become second nature to me, a second full time hobby and job, I take it seriously and share my life (good and bad) with all of you because I want to be real and want to show my own growth, my own stumbles and my own get up moments. As bloggers, it gets easy getting caught up in the stats and wanting to have the most viewers and followers, etc. & that stuff is all fine and dandy, but for me, it means more when I develop relationships/bonds with people who read my content. I have fallen behind on post, have made changes to the blog, and have fallen short on quality of post at times, but it never ceases to amaze me how many of you continue to be there no matter. I appreciate all of you and wish all of you the best with your continued writing and may we continue to build friendships and share laughs with one another for the next many years ahead of us ❤

Life Happens- More often than NOT.

The day’s go by so fast..

 

Thank you for your continued patience!

 The days have been going by fast lately here in Ohio and so I have been lacking in the blog department a small bit where some of you may have noticed (or now you notice because I told you) lol. That is my fault, I used to be blogging daily, and always commenting and replying back within hours , but now, my schedule has changed some days and I am spending more time studying – Thanksgiving is on its way & my social life has seemingly picked back up since meeting new friends. All of these excuses I listed are taking away time from my blog and so you have seen less post and if you do read them, the quality has been so-so & I totally take the blame for that and that is something I will get back on the right path because good quality articles are important, especially in my situation. 

 

The last thing I want to do is quit the blog or take a long break because I know this blog has done so much good, but I also have realized my reality sometimes doesn’t allow me to blog when I want to, so if it seems like I am skipping days, or weeks – do know this isn’t intentional and no, I am not quitting or ignoring your post/comments, all it means is life has a got a hold of me and I am trying. 

 

With all this being said, some good news.. 

 

I have had a PR of an online website/magazine get in contact with me out of the blue about writing an article for them, so hopefully if all works out, I might be doing that, it has been awhile since I have done an article for someone else. 

 

Secondly, I am looking for guest bloggers who can talk about: Yoga, meditation, and prepping for a marathon. You can choose out of the three which one you are comfortable with because I will want 3 different people anyways. Basically if you are interested in doing a guest post about any one of those three topics, send me an email Shay.moss19@gmail.com and let me know. I will discuss the details with you via email and we will go from there. There will be other opportunities for guest posting on my blog so don’t get hung up if none of these topics are up your alley, because I have over 100 topics written down that I do and ones that will be from someone else, so just keep a look out 🙂  Hope all of you have a wonderful Tuesday! Just when I thought I could take a Wednesday easy day, then this happens – nobody likes when I take rest days! haha. Facts About Myself:

  • I am 5’8 
  • I don’t like sweets very much but every rare once in a while I might get a craving
  • I taught myself how to dance growing up by watching MTV and watching boy bands like backstreet boys and NYSC and copying their moves – among other artist
  • I was in choir and show choir for about 6-7 years (and got a plaque because of it)
  • I like Chipotle – but haven’t had it in like 6 months? 
  • I am a clean freak.. & love organization
  • I don’t like writing with pencil. UNLESS it is mechanical, but still prefer pen over pencil.

I made it to 600 followers , thank you

Hey everyone!

I wanted to let everyone know that today I have reached my goal of 600 followers on my blog. I am so proud of all of you for following the rules and following me! lol, jk. Seriously this is awesome for me, I am a nobody in a world full of who’s.. this probably makes no sense, but if you know me well enough, that is perfectly normal. Thank you to all of you who enjoy my content, who support my YouTube videos, who don’t mind my yapping away and having me make you all feel bad about yourselves because I am lifting heavier than you! hahhaha only kidding. – I love you bloggers! I love you readers, I love you both the same unless one of you unfollows me, then.. chances are I don’t love you anymore. – lol. 

I don’t want to make a HUGE deal out of this, because some of you have more than 1,000 followers – you know who you are.. yeah you.. over there with the smile on your face and the soft nudge and head nod you gave to the guy beside you – yeah I don’t like you.. jk. I think it is wonderful that you are cooler than me but let me have this slice of cake and pretend that I am cool for this moment. With all this being said, I hope many more come to enjoy my post and interact with me on a daily basis because you are the only friends I have, LOL – I pretty much live on WordPress.. can’t give away my address because I am BIG deal now.. kind of, sorda, not really.. but for 3 more minutes we shall pretend. Hey everyone, I am happy to announce I have made my milestone of 500 followers! this is great and I feel pretty awesome, but I want to thank all of you for continuing to show support for my blog!
